Er, cheers for that one "mate"...
We know that when the X Factor returns without Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole this summer, it won’t be the same. Yeah we love Dannii Minogue in a slightly fanatical way and Louis Walsh is bearable if you do the mindset equivalent of squinting your eyes and tilting your head, but they hardly have the charismatic clout of the Cowell and Cole power combo.
We all know this, but we DON’T talk about it. Not yet anyway, it’s just far too painful. So for that reason we’d like to say a big un-thank you to Will.i.am, for not only talking about the elephant in the room, but for spouting on about how they are “irreplaceable”.
Think it don’t talk about it, yeah Will. That’s how we English people deal with things.
Speaking to MTV, he said: "I don't think there is much doubt that Simon and Cheryl are the main two guys. Simon is the glue that holds everything together and people love to watch him, and Cheryl is like a queen in the UK. They are both irreplaceable.”
Oh stop it Will, stop it know, it’s making our eyes want to bleed just reading it.
But alas, Mr i.am has more to say, click next to read it…
