Could this split up the band?


When a source revealed to the Daily Star that Harry Styles was being pushed by American management to be One Direction’s lead singer because "He’s funny, confident and has a great voice", Sugarscapers were not happy.

And when we say “not happy” we mean *?!#ing and $%*!ing all over the place.

Here’s what you lot think about the proposed move.

rainbowdinosa commented: “Ugh... stupid American management, I'm American and I like them as a band of EQUALS!! <3”

While StinaStew1D is concerned that it will push the other band members into obscurity, also coming up with a possible new band name if this One Direction lark doesn’t work out.

“no offense to Harry but he can't be the lead singer! we have grown attached to them as a GROUP not, they are ONE direction not ‘Harry and the pussycats’ (hehe) :) <3”

Worryingly, many of you fear that this could mean the end of your favourite band.

“They shouldn't do this, I think it will split them up,” wrote Dutch.

Mimzy817 added: “I've said this before, I'm happy they came here to America because it's big for them, but I knew something like this would happen.... I think they are perfectly fine with how they are right now! Wouldn't change a thing! GR no lead singer! this is how i think NYSNC didn't last long all they did was give it all to Justin and JC! Out of all the comments we had on the matter not ONE of you thought this was a good idea, in fact many of you wish that Niall and Louis would get more solos.
