New bands plus Diana Vickers, Gemma Arterton and Downton Abbey hottie Dan Stevens
With Lana Del Rey, White Lies, The Horrors, Janelle Monae and Wild Beasts on the lineup, this year's Latitude festival was already shaping up nicely, but now they've confirmed a whole pile more bands and comedians including Tim Minchin and Tom Deacon, it's looking lie it's going to be a cracking weekend.
With Bon Iver, Elbow, Laura Marling and Ben Howard down to headline, the newest additions to the bill include Catherine AD, Slow Club, Of Monsters And Men and King Charles, plus acts hand-picked by Radio 1 DJ and curator of the Lake Stage Huw Stephense, whose bill is set to feature Cate Le Bon, Los Campesinos, Lucy Rose, Benjamin Bloom, Tall Ships and Theme Park.
If you've been feeling blue about the lack of Glastonbury this year, we'd have to say that Latitude might just be the festival for you. With heaps of indie and folk bands plus an awesome line up of DJs, comedians, poets and authors to make you feel a bit cultured, we think this one's got it all.
Out of the newest acts added to the bill, we're most excited about seeing awesome Welsh band Los Campesinos, folk duo Slow Club and of course Lucy Rose, who you might know as the soulful female voice on a lot of Bombay Bicycle Club's music.

There's so much else going on at Latitude, we're not sure how we're going to fit everything in, but we're quite excited to hear that Diana Vickers, bond girl Gemma Arterton and Downton Abbey hottie Dan Stevens will all be making an appearance as past of the cast dramatising contemporary short stories in the literary arena. That sounds like our kind of English revision!
Latitude is at Southwold's Henham Park between 12-15 July
