What do you think of the new girl band that are going global?

They have been described as: "Leading lights of a new wave of young Parisian rock." Music Week said:
"The Plastiscines could pick up where the Bangles left off." and NME reviewed that they are: "Four super-extra-hot french girls with fat, chunky riffs and brilliant new wave pop tunes,

But what we want to know is what you think of the four pop songstresses the Plastiscines!

Here are the girls, Katty, Marine, Ana and Louise!

We think the Plastiscines are going to be HUGE! They've had invites from around the world to perfom at New York fashion week and you should keep and ear out for the girls on Gossip Girl! The band are to feature on 2 episodes!

This all-girl ROCK band won over their native France, having received a commendation in Paris last year presented by Pete Doherty, along with the French Minister of Culture. But winning over their high-class home crowd was only the start. After writing their first international hit (“Loser”) in high school and playing sold-out shows across Europe while still teenagers, it was never going to be long before Katty (vocals), Marine (guitar), Anais (drums) Louise (bass) needed a few new continents to conquer.

Barcelona is a stylishly sexy, candy-punk T.U.N.E, produced by Butch Walker (who has also produced Katy Perry, Pink, Avril Lavigne.) “Butch saw us playing Nancy Sinatra's These Boots Are Made For Walking and immediately fell in love with us,” explains Ana of the origins of the garage-pop collaboration. The result is also the first time the girls have written the majority of their songs in English rather than French. “I have the impression English words sound more poetic,” explains Marine.
