Hopefully singing them outside their hotel rooms on an acoustic guitar, just waiting for Harry to see him...
Ed Sheeran's not the kind of guy to bring out hard-hitting breakdowns about getting his new grills and bringing them to 'da club' an' ting, so it's not a huge surprise that he's revealed the songs he's given One Direction for their second album are all about love and mush.
Although we would be very open to one about grills, if you ever wanna run that by us Eddy Von Sheeran?
"I wrote the three tracks that I gave them when I was 17 and they were on my hard drive for a long time," Ed told MTV News.
"And then I gave them one song for their last album and they came back and said, 'Do you have any more?' and I said, 'Here's a whole load. Take your pick.'"
Er, let's look over the fact that they're essentially all Ed's rejects for his own albums, and think of them more as songs that we re waiting for their fate to be bestowed upon them, and it came in the form of One Direction. Yeah, that works better.
Ed went on to say that they'd all be pretty lurrve themed;
"17-year-old Ed just wrote a lot of love songs, so expect to hear a lot of love songs on their album, I guess.
"I had a wicked girlfriend at 17. She was great. Actually my album is pretty much about her. So she spawned off a lot of songs."
