We ALWAYS wanted to learn piano. And now we CAN! Thanks to those lovely DS peeps. YAY.


When this particular Scaper was little, all she wanted to do was learn piano. But instead, she got landed with a viola. That's right - the rubbish violin. It was about as far from a piano as you could get. BUT before you go messaging me with your condolences - this is where the sob story ENDS. Because (thanks to those clever types at Nintendo) you can now learn the piano on your DS with cool new game Easy Piano.

The game features an actual 8-note keyboard so you can learn all the correct finger movements and the skill to become a virtual musical virtuoso! And if you're not in a piano mood, you can switch to guitar or a number of other instruments and have a good old jam with them.

And as well as learning how to play songs, you can create your own 3 minute masterpieces and record them. I'll be playing mine back to Mum and giving her the 'This is what I should have been doing instead of stupid old viola' look. You know the one.
