Whoop! We won't have to give everyone coal for Christmas after all.
With the first names on the 2013 Reading and Leeds line up set to be revealed later on this week, there's no need to panic about pooling all your savings for a ticket just yet as the festival have just announced a shiny new £50 deposit scheme that'll secure your ticket until next year.
Summer may seem a million years away, but plans for next year's Reading and Leeds are already well under way and with the first line up announcement due on November 29. That gives you a whole 24hrs to round up your pals before the first batch of tickets go on sale at 9am on November 30.
You don't have to worry about spending all your Christmas shopping cash though and to avoid paying the full whack, the new scheme means you can reserve a ticket with a £50 downpayment on the condition that you pay the full balance by March 31 2013.
There are all sorts of rumours about who will be headlining and with three new stages including an extra dance tent confirmed for next year's festivals, it's all sounding pretty exciting.
So what do you think of the scheme? Has it got you out of a sticky situation and more importantly, who do you want to see up on the main stages?
