Just over two months ago Alex, Jimmy, Johnny and Charlie began their mission...

...to create a single that would get into the UK singles chart in aid of Children in Need. The songwriters, the performers (Adam and Miranda), and the producer all volunteered in response to video call outs posted by the boys on their youtube site. The gang decided to call themselves Chartjackers, and the mission commenced!

Check out the video to their single, I've Got Nothing, here:

It was released on November 9, and managed to enter the top 40 singles chart last Sunday, going in at number 36. The project to date has raised around £10,000 for Children in Need - wow!

The lads did some silly stuff to promote the single - check out Johnny eating a whole green chilli:

Someone get him a glass of water, quick!

They even impressed Pixie Lott enough to make her tweet about them!

You can also tune in to BBC Switch on BBC2 at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday November 21 to see a 25 minute documentary of the whole story!

Will you be watching it? Did you buy the single?
