Not one crocodile in sight…
When we first saw Avril Lavigne’s video for Wish You Were Here we were quite impressed by how she made herself cry so much that her mascara ran down her face.
Oh get her, she’s not bad at this pretending to cry lark, wish we could learn how to do that; we said as we stuffed chocolate cookies into our mouths and slurped our morning tea.
Then we only blinkin’ blindin’ learnt that those tears we the real thing, the genuine article, the… yeah you get it.
Speaking to Billboard.com, Avers said: “It’s a song written about missing someone and looking back and remembering all the good times and all those awesome moments.
"It's kind of raw, but also emotional. I cry in the video and that was something that I did on purpose, but it was something that was real."
Nice one Avril and well done on not making any snot bubbles, we bloody hate those.
