Amazing!

Ed Sheeran whipped out a surprise cover of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' Empire State Of Mind in the Live Lounge with Fearne Cotton on Radio 1 today.

He was asked to perform a song by a previous BRIT Award winner, and chose Jay-Z's collaboration - even though it has loads of lyrics in it that he was a bit worried about forgetting.

Before he'd pulled that outta the bag, he sang an acoustic version of his new single Drunk, and told listeners that if they voted for him at the BRITs then he wouldn't turn up to the ceremony in a thong made out of bacon.

Kinda makes us want to give our vote to Anna Calvi just to see the meaty knicks.

What did you think of his Live Lounge session?
